Position: ICT Support Technician

Salary: $70,000 per annum.

Job Description:

We are actively seeking qualified individuals to join our dynamic team as ICT Support Technicians, particularly those with experience in Managed Service Providers (MSPs). As a crucial member of our ICT department, you will play a pivotal role in providing first-line technical support to end-users within an MSP environment. Your responsibilities will include: 

Responsibilities:

• Ø  Determining software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to problems.
• Ø  Responding promptly to inquiries about software and hardware issues.
• Ø  Adapting existing programs to meet users' specific requirements.
• Ø  Installing and downloading appropriate software.
• Ø  Ensuring the efficient use of applications and equipment.
• Ø  Implementing and managing computer networks.
• Ø  Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers, and modems.
• Ø  May work in a call center environment.
• Ø  Conducting routine system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and optimizations.
• Ø  Monitoring system performance and implementing proactive measures.
• Ø  Conducting training sessions for end-users and creating user guides and documentation.
• Ø  Collaborating with cybersecurity teams to ensure a secure ICT environment.
• Ø  Analyzing and diagnosing complex ICT issues, escalating problems when necessary.

 Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an ICT Support Technician or in a similar role, preferably within an MSP setting.

Strong knowledge of ICT systems, hardware, and software.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Certifications in relevant technologies or relevant academic qualifications.

Must possess the ability to manage travel within the city of Perth, either by car or public transport.
